The Temple Guardians are monkeys who are Yoyo's family. They guard the Forbidden Temple.
Bio in season three
They only appear in ''Monkey See, Monkey Do''. They find Basil Circus and Cyril Circus in their temple and bombard them with fruit, eventually driving them out. Afterwards they meet up with Yoyo, Princess Penelope, Nutsy, Flap and Blinky Bill, to whom they were friendly towards. They offered Yoyo to join them and he accepted. They were last seen celebrating about their new recruit, complete with a wedgie-war.
